This is the beginning of what I hope will be a very useful blog. I love to write and have tons of ideas for stories fighting for position in my head. Hopefully I can post them here and begin to receive so me feedback to help get them ready for submission. The fist post, "The Do-It-Yourself Superhero," was written in response to a challenge I was given by a friend who teaches Freshman comp at a local university. He regularly assigns process essays and encourages his students to be creative when they select the process they will describe. Apart from the shining aberration, most essays deal with how to make a PB&J sandwich or how to tie a shoe. He asked me to help him out by providing an example that was out of the ordinary. The original essay was about half the length and about 6 months ago i resented a draft at a graduate conference in Logan, UT. It was received well, but i didn't get the feedback I was hoping for. I have been toying with this essay off-and-on for a few months and really need some good feedback. Thanks for your feedback!
Cheers,
Price
